A few years ago, if results showed that an athlete had over 15 nanograms per milliliter of THC in a urinary test, they were not allowed to compete. This has been increased to 150 nanograms. As such, there could be small amounts of THC present in their urine sample even if they have only consumed CBD. By upping this THC limit, the chances of being disqualified are reduced.
